3/31-Our appearance at the WCSX Super Sports Expo this past weekend will likely result in opening new opportunities for us to be able to continue in simliar types of media coverage and events and ultimately obtain a long time personal goal of mine which is for our team to be able to reach the masses in order to bring our sport to the forefront of competitive team sports. In the past, we have been in the Detroit News & Free Press and other local papers. This weekend we were announced locally on WCXS as one of the Expo's attractions to "come out and see." -Pam Picture here

The Great Skate Wolverine Speed Team sends it’s deepest regrets to the family of Barbara Penrose who passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2006. Barbara was a great supporter of the Wolverine Speed Team in many ways from it’s beginnings at The Great Skate over 20 years ago. Barbara will be missed as a cheerleader, mother, grandmother, coach, and mostly as a dear friend who always showed kindness and support to everyone she came in contact with. We will miss you Barbara and will always think of you in the most kind and loving ways.
Your Speed Team,
The Great Skate Wolverines
