10/11-The Great Skate Wolverine Speed Team sends it’s condolences to Pam Corney and her family at the passing of her mother. There will be a memorial Thursday, 5:00-7:00pm at the Temorowski Funeral home located at 13 Mile and Hoover in Warren, MI. Sorry for your loss Pam.
8/25- Beginners practice is cancelled this Sunday.
8/2-Welcome a new Speed Skater!! BJ and Jenny are the parents of a new baby girl. Her name is Grace Elizabeth Steketee and she is 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 19-1/2 in. Pictures here.

7/28-Wolverine Speed Team members Jessica Smith and Kelly Gunther are at residency as part of Team USA preparing for the 2006 Speed World Championships. The World Championship will be held in September in Anyang City, South Korea. The Wolverines wish good luck to Jess and Kelly and to Team USA! USARS coverage here.
7/25-The Wolverine Speed Team Picnic will be on August 13th at Geoff and Jan Schrock’s Farm in Belleville, MI. at 1:00pm. There will be a Pre Picnic Skate at 10:00am at Lower Huron MetroPark. A Team email with details was sent out. If you need further information see Amy, Geoff, or Jay.
