The Skatin’ Station II in Canton, MI was the scene once again of the 2nd Annual Wolverine Motor City Madness Thanksgiving Speed Invitational. There was racing action with speed skaters representing 13 Clubs from 8 States. With Bob Justice calling the action on the fast floor the racing was fast and furious.The Wolverines would like to thank the following people. Chuck and Suzie Jackson from the Skatin’ Station II for the excellent rink facilities and hospitality. Bob Justice for calling the action. Denise Koziara and Jay Ingram (who helped out with organizing the meet), all the Wolverine parents who helped with check-in, food, etc.. the officials, Bob Babcock (meet director), Michael Bell (chief referee), Mike Fuller, Jim Pitch, Alan Hughes, Jeff Kajawa, and Jenny Stecketee (referees), Joey Yambor (starter), Kathy Jochum (chief place judge), Dee Miller (chief tabulator),Bob Jochum (tabulator), Laurie Emerling (chief competitive steward), Liz MacDougal (competitive steward). The participating Speed Clubs, Capital City Racing, Fast Forward Racing, Frenchtown Speed Team, High Point Skate Club, Midland Rockets, Mt. Morris Mountaineers, Newark Speed, Skatetown Speed, Stealth Racing, Team Thunder, Team United, Wolverine Speed, X-Treme Speed/Win Racing. The Wolverine's would also like to thank the following vendors for their support of the 2nd Annual Motor City Madness Speed Invitational.
