The Great Skate Wolverines are proud of all our skaters. Occasionally we will put one in the spotlight with a more in-depth interview.
Coaches comments (Coach Robb Dunn): Makayla serves as a team mascot, an assistant coach (she’s been known to come out on the floor & hang with the coaches at times) & keeps her sister Darian in line.  She already is able to skate the speed track properly (except for minor deviations due to flirting with the crowd), even executing an occasional crossover or two.  She loves being on her skates & is not easy to get off the floor when her turn in front of the pace line is over!
