Wolverine Skater in the Spotlight
The Great Skate Wolverines are proud of all our skaters. Occasionally we will put one in the spotlight with a more in-depth interview.

What is your greatest achievement in skating?: At 39 years old, to take up speed skating is something that I never imagined.

What motivates you to do well in skating?: To keep up with the ambitious females in my family!

What are you short-term goals in skating?: To make it through the whole season and compete in Regionals.

What are you long-term goals?: To develop to a level where I have the confidence and ability to skate competitively.

What is your favorite drill?: Circle drills

What would you tell a non-skater is the most fun about skating?: Sharing personal achievements - no matter how big or small - with a great group of people.

How has speed Skating helped you in your everyday life? If so, how?: Skating is a great mental and physical workout that carries over into everything you do.
